| The GE E-CAiO is designed to support respiratory monitoring. Most notably in anesthesia and critical care areas. The modules measure airway gases using the sidestream method. All parameter values are sampled using a single gas sampling line. This includes the use of D-lite or Pedi-lite flow sensors. Along with an additional Spirometry tube. The modules use GE infrared technology to measure and identify anesthetic agents. As well as two agent mixtures. They also calculate the Minimum Alveolar Concentration (MAC). The modules measure true patient values of the ventilator. They provide numerical values for airway pressure. The modules offer direct and continuous measurement of oxygen consumption.
