This ion source was taken directly from a Varian 300-MS Mass Spectrometer. It works great, as the unit was mothballed due to a lost exterior panel.
Why buy a refurbished source?
This unit should be considered if you need a replacement source for your mass spectrometer. They are hard to find, yet easy to replace. Going through the manufacturer can potentially cost tens of thousands of dollars! , you may find an equivalent used mass spectrometer, but it will cost significantly more to purchase and ship. Then, of course it will need set up again. This source can be replaced in an hour upon arrival and it's plug and play.
