See new medical products before they become part of the mainstream at the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Conference and Exposition, October 20-22 in Minneapolis. The event that bills itself as "the Genesis of Medical Product Development" celebrates 15 years of bringing advances in materials, electronics and manufacturing for medical products to the forefront of industry.

The conference offers four full-day tracks each day including topics on FDA enforcement, product development processes for medical device makers, and how to outsource product development and manufacturing. Participants will gain practical and valuable information to apply immediately in their professions.

Attendees at MD&M can expect to find resources and solutions to compare and consider: medical materials, electronic components, assembly and manufacturing equipment, and medical device software to name a few. Exhibitors representing more than 50 categories of industry specialties will answer questions with an eye on a manufacturer's needs for quality, safety, reliability, time to market and costs to produce.
