The 2011 Spring IDN Summit will explore recent efforts of leading healthcare systems (IDNs) as they navigate the waters of healthcare reform to reimagine new ways to deliver improved care to patients in the most efficient manner possible. The Spring Summit will feature the finalists of the IDN Summit Supply Chain of Excellence Awards-Baptist Health South Florida, CHRISTUS Health, Memorial Hermann Healthcare System and UPMC-who will share innovative ideas through the Summit's innovation track and vie for the overall national award.
Registrants will also have the opportunity to join Chuck Lauer, noted healthcare leader and former publisher of Modern Healthcare, as he engages industry thought leaders in a high level panel discussion on issues impacting today's healthcare system. This year's panel members include Alan Channing, President and CEO, Sinai Health System; Steven Goldstein, President & CEO, Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital; Frank Perez, CEO, Kettering Health Network; and Allen Weiss, President and CEO, NCH Healthcare System.
On Tuesday, March 22nd, the IDN Summit's unique reverse expo features senior healthcare executives staffing booths for visits by their GPO and supplier partners. The format provides opportunity for all parties to effectively and efficiently use their time and resources.
