NeuroLogica Corp. said Tuesday its high-definition, portable SPECT camera, the inSPira HD, received CE Mark approval, meaning it now can be sold in the European Union.

The Danvers, Mass.-based company said the battery-powered camera is designed for brain imaging, and boasts a spatial resolution of up to 3 millimeters. It's meant to be used in epilepsy clinics, ICUs and brain imaging centers, the company said. The device will be shown at the World Molecular Imaging Congress' annual meeting in San Diego in September.

In March, NeuroLogica introduced the world's first portable, full-body CT scanner, the BodyTom.
