WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mobile Heartbeat®, a leading provider of mobile healthcare enterprise solutions that improve clinical workflow and team communication, today announced Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s (VUMC) enterprise-scale implementation of Mobile Heartbeat’s MH-CURE® clinical communications and collaboration platform at its two main facilities ─ the Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The two hospitals together have over 1100 beds.

VUMC is integrating MH-CURE’s voice, text and broadcast capabilities with the hospitals’ Rauland-Borg nurse call system and Epic EMR system to unify all communications on one mobile device, enabling greater efficiency and improved workflows. MH-CURE has been fully implemented at the Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital and will be deployed at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt later in 2018. MH-CURE will be used across all departments at the two hospitals and will have over 10,000 users at VUMC once fully deployed.

“Mobile Heartbeat’s MH-CURE provides VUMC with the enterprise-scale platform they need to close the communications loop and reduce connect times between care team members,” said Jamie Brasseal, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Mobile Heartbeat. “Clinicians are now able to use a single device with applications unifying all their communications methods and streamlining workflows. MH-CURE enables enhanced collaboration that helps VUMC’s care teams improve their response and treatment times with patients, further elevating the level of care.”
