Nijim has been appointed as chief information officer (CIO). Nijim is a senior leader with extensive experience in healthcare information systems, clinical applications and enterprise image management solutions. He will oversee the integration and interoperability of the radiology IT teams for vRad as well as MEDNAX Radiology Solutions, a recognized leader in radiology, innovator in healthcare informatics and pioneer in telemedicine.

Nijim is a healthcare informatics executive with 18+ years of expertise in radiology and cardiology imaging and other clinical applications. He has developed and deployed innovative solutions in oncology planning and verification systems, ECG management, cardiology and cardiovascular imaging and reporting, radiology diagnostic viewing and reporting, and enterprise data archiving and management. Prior to MEDNAX, Nijim was Chief Operating Officer at Flywheel, a data management and analysis platform for neuroimaging and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) researchers. He previously held positions at Acuo Technologies and Lexmark Enterprise Software, where he focused on software implementation, systems integration, project management and data services for hospitals and health systems.
