Another Great FIME

FIME continues to grow and the increased number of exhibitors and attendees at this years event is obvious.

Informa is pulling out all the stops to improve the show, which next year will move back to the Miami Beach Convention Center.

I met a doctor in the speakers ready room who was there to give a talk about sterilization and I sat in on a very interesting Supply Chain talk by Simrit Sandhu with the Cleveland Clinic.

This show is so much more diverse than it was in the past thanks to Informa. It is one of the few shows I know of in the USA that is all things to all people.

In the USA most shows specialize in something. RSNA for radiologist, AIUM for ultrasound, AAMI for HTMs and SNMMI for molecular imaging, for example. Outside the US many shows are all encompassing. Arab Health and Medica are are good examples of that.

Informa wants to turn FIME into an all-things-to-all-people type of show.

I think that they might just pull it off.
