Wayne, N.J., July 31, 2018– FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of endoscopic imaging solutions, today announced the launch of its 700 Series Endoscopes. This newest product line features several enhancements in comfort, efficiency, and visualization. As part of Fujifilm's ELUXEO platform, the 700 Series Endoscopes are compatible with special light observation modes Blue Light Imaging (BLI) and Linked Color Imaging (LCI®), expanding Fujifilm's offerings in image enhanced endoscopy.

"At Fujifilm, we work closely with our provider partners to create new solutions and improve existing technologies to better suit their clinical needs. Our 700 Series Endoscopes feature several enhancements from the preceding line, in an effort to provide physicians with improved visualization and illumination during endoscopic procedures," says Johann Fernando, Ph.D., Chief Operating Officer of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc.

ELUXEO is Fujifilm's next-generation image enhanced endoscopy platform, comprised of the 7000 Video Imaging System and now, the 700 Series Endoscopes. This platform provides improved image quality in terms of sharpness and brightness. It also delivers optimal visual information for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in daily clinical practice.

"Fujifilm's new 700 Series scopes are designed to meet any endoscopist's style, and uniquely adapt to bothtechnical and personal endoscopic preferences," says Jose Lantin, MD, Chief Executive Officer of Gastroenterology of Westchester, LLC. "The ELUXEO system, combined with the 700 Series Endoscopes, provide a clearer, sharper image, and improved far field visibility. In addition, the LCI technology improves visualization of areas of interest. "

700 Series Endoscopes feature Fujifilm's leading-edge CMOS chip-in-the-tip technology for noiseless and brilliant image transmission, as well as the following new enhancements:

One-step Connector: The scope is easily plugged in to the processor with just one step. Attaching a separate video connector is no longer required in setup, which enhances the efficiency of clinical workflow.

Contact-free Technology: The first of its kind to incorporate an integrated wireless power supply that provides high speed transmission of data, this new contact-free technology helps simplify the cleaning process and also reduces the potential for accidental damage.

G7 Control Portion: The layout and size of the control portion and the angulation knobs are positioned to increase accessibility from the grip. The G7 grip is designed to have an easy and comfortable feel that optimizes performance and minimizes stress during clinical procedures.
