DETROIT – Robin Damschroder, CPA, has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer for Henry Ford Health System after serving as interim in that executive role for the past eight months.

The announcement was made by President and CEO Wright Lassiter III.

“We are so fortunate to have Robin join Henry Ford Health System,” Lassiter says. “She has a demonstrated track record in operational growth, implementation of large strategic capital projects and improved health system performance in large, complex organizations. As important, Robin has proven experience leading change, integration efforts and innovation in value-based contracting.”

Damschroder has more than 27 years of experience in health care including serving in executive financial and operation leadership roles at the University of Michigan Health System and St. Joseph Mercy Health System. Early in her career, she held positions at Henry Ford as associate controller and Deloitte audit engagement leader. She also founded Catalytic Focus LLC, a health care consulting and business advisory services firm.

Damschroder holds a master’s degree in Health Services Administration and a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Michigan. She is also a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Damschroder succeeds Ed Chadwick who left Henry Ford in November 2017.
