aycan installs PACS at Rochester Regional's mobile mammography center

aycan completed the install of its back-up PACS at Rochester Regional Health (RRH), a five hospital health system that services families in communities in the greater Rochester, NY region.

The aycan solution was installed at RRH's new mobile mammography center, a pink and blue truck that will roam Monroe County and seven surrounding counties. The mammography truck is funded by a state grant to encourage women to get screened for breast cancer.

The aycan system will be utilized to store and back up all images from the 3D mammography modality . The aycan PACS consists of FDA-cleared aycan workstation and Apple hardware.
