AHRMM, quite a success

by Philip F. Jacobus, CEO | July 31, 2019
AHRMM this year in San Diego was quite a success.

There were a lot of materials and a lot of purchasing and supply chain personnel who, while it may be hard to believe, were very relaxed.

Then again, it is San Diego, which in a way makes it hard not to relax. And getting these people out of the office helps them to tone it down a notch.

We were lucky. We had a great booth location and a lot of visitors. The person who was supposed to help me put the booth together could not make it, but I managed to get the booth set up without any instructions. Hospitals were very interested in what DOTmed is doing now in the Auction space, and we received a lot of nice comments about our magazine.

There was a lot of talk about Cybersecurity, volume discounts and total cost of ownership. I also heard the term, 'Patient Outcomes', fifty times, if I heard it once.

I saw Scott Narug who has worked for AHRMM for as long as I can remember, and yet never seems to age.

Next year, the show is in Austin, Texas and I will look forward to barbecue!

Hope to see you there!
