ASRT appoints president-elect

Mar 13, 2020 - As part of the ASRT 2020 elections, members have elected Kristi Moore, Ph.D., R.T.(R)(CT), to serve as ASRT’s president-elect. She is assistant dean for academic affairs, chair and program director, radiologic sciences at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, School of Health-Related Professions in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Moore currently serves as vice president of the ASRT Board of Directors.

President-elect Michael Odgren, B.S., R.P.A., R.R.A., R.T.(R)(CT), will serve as ASRT president for the 2020-2021 term and President Stephanie Johnston, M.S.R.S., R.T.(R)(M)(BD)(BS), FASRT, will be elevated to chairman of the Board.

Daniel L. Gonzales, M.S.R.S., R.T.(R), FASRT, will serve as vice president. Steven Cohen, R.T.(R), will serve as secretary. Brandon Smith, M.B.A., M.S.R.S., R.T.(R)(VI) was elected to serve as treasurer.

Voters also elected 30 chapter delegates to serve in the ASRT House of Delegates. Terms for the newly elected chapter delegates will begin after the 2020 annual governance meeting. See a complete list of the newly elected chapter delegates here.

More than 2,400 ASRT members cast votes for officer and delegate candidates in the 2020 ASRT election. Polls were open from Feb. 18 to March 10. Survey & Ballot Systems, an independent election management service based in Minnesota, managed the election process and independently certified the results of the balloting.
