For more than 40 years, U.S. medical exporters have come to Medica to launch new technologies and sell their products to the world market. The past decade has seen incredible growth with over 560 U.S. exhibitors in three USA pavilions and the U.S. Commerce Department organized CEO Center. We are proud to be a part of Medica’s mission to bring the latest health technology to the consumers.”
Silke Ditgen, Trade Commissioner, Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (based in the Canadian Consulate in Düsseldorf, Germany), added: “MEDICA has been one of the most important platforms to showcase the Canadian life sciences industry for many years and we are happy to continue to support Canadian exhibitors at the show, especially in these challenging times.”
Personal exchange is irreplaceable
The Canadian group exhibit will feature 4 of the 13 Canadian companies at MEDICA. Of the 223 U.S. companies at MEDICA, 105 will exhibit within the two U.S. Pavilions located in Halls 3 (diagnostics equipment) and 16 (laboratory equipment), while 13 of the 63 U.S. exhibitors at COMPAMED will participate in the U.S. Pavilion in Hall 14. The U.S. group exhibits are organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America, the U.S. subsidiary of the trade fairs’ organizer.
“It’s been pleasantly surprising to see such optimism across the industry this past year. The broad consensus is that nothing replaces the valuable face-to-face interactions that international trade shows like MEDICA and COMPAMED offer. In fact, Messe Düsseldorf North America continues to get multiple inquiries every week from American companies inquiring about exhibit space availability,” shared Ryan Klemm, Senior Business Development Manager at Messe Düsseldorf North America.
