Mark Johnson, Medical Equipment Consignment & Service

Mark needed a Leica power supply to try to determine what was wrong with his power supply. He asked for me to loan my power supply to him. I shipped it to him at my cost. He will not return it to me or return any phone calls. I tried to help the guy out and he just stole it from me. I have checked with others in the surgical microscope world and they have had similar trouble.

We have purchased a microscope from the same person in June and still have not received it. We have been sending e-mails and leaving phone calls, however with no response. To make it worse, we have even put a 3.5k down payment for the Leica microscope with them, and most likely will loose that money.
I would appreciate if more info can be provided on this person, since we will most likely have to sue him to recover our funds and equipment.

Dr. Grozdanic did order a microscope from us. He paid an initial deposit of $2000.00 via paypal and was to pay four monthly installments to cover the balance. He asked for the installment payment arraignment because he was not immediately ready to take possesion of the unit. He paid one installment and wanted immediate delivery of the unit after that installment even though we scheduled the delivery for several months later. He was requesting delivery even though he had not fulfilled his payment obligations. He purchase leica ceiling mounts parts and wanted the unit mounted on a floorstand which I purchased on his behalf to mount the ceiling mount parts onto. Even though we purchased the floorstand on his behalf to complete the order, we still refunded all of his money via paypal to him. I only recently became aware of this posted complaint against me and wanted to address it. I also contacted him and he said he had not received all his money back from paypal so I forwarded the proof that I refunded all funds via paypal to him. I have all written communications to support my statements for anyone interested in knowing the truth. The unit still sits in our location till this day and I was recently contacted by him asking us to deliver the equipment or provide him with a refund and this is how I became aware of the post and the fact that he had claimed to have not received all of his funds back from paypal. Everyone who uses paypal knows that without proof of delivery paypal will immediately investigate and protect the purchaser.

Mark Johnson is almost 1-year past due on $4,250. He purchased a microscope from us on October 18, 2011 for $8,950 and signed a contract which included payment terms. He purchased it in as-is, where-is condition without any implied or expressed warranty (per the contract). Prior to purchasing it, he visited our company representing himself as a "microscope technician", evaluated the microscope, signed the contract, crated it and wired a $4,700 deposit with the remaining payment due no later than October 1, 2012 (sooner, if he ended up selling it but no later than Oct 1 if he did not). I can verify this information and show the signed contract upon request.
I have left multiple messages (his voice mail is still active with his name and voice) and emails of which he has not even given me the respect of a reply, so I believe this should be publicized so other people do not have a similar circumstance.

Ken, not much to do but be aware of his actions. I did not loose much but it is the principle of the whole thing. Theft.

Hi Ken, Good morning. Is there any way you may be able to help with this regarding getting my money that Mark Johnson stole from me?
He does not return calls or emails whatsoever and it is black and white that he owes me $4,700.
Thank you very much,
Garret
