BrightSpeed - Scan was Paused/Aborted by Host

March 17, 2017 05:22

Hi guys,

I'm working on this BrightSpeed that was working and suddenly it aborts the scans, I'm able to warm up the tube, and the only messages that show in the error log are the following:

Host: tac1 Proc: scanmgr Error:245213
File: scanmgr_events.cxx
Function: System Control: Scan Control
Scan Type: Axial Scan:50000/1/3
Scan Seq Id: 1100
Scan was Paused/Aborted by Host

Host: tac1 Proc: scanmgr Error:245190
File: scan_complete.cxx
Function: System Control: Scan Control
Scan Type:Axial Scan 0/0/0
Scan Seq Id: 1100
System Aborted Axial scanning
No views, either offset or data, were collected/recieved.
Data views expected:992

So I can move table, positioning the craddle and as soon as I hit START the scan, the gantry rotates and you could hear the rotor running as well, but the system aborts the scan before it even makes the xray exposure.

I found that the ORP2 board, has this 2 leds lighted in RED:

ERROR: RED LED
ERR HIST: RED LED

When I try to reset the ORP2 board, once is reseted, this 2 RED leds come on again. I checked the emergency switches and they are good, as well as the tape switches.

I do not know how to test the ORP2 board if there is a way on the system, please if someone has any insight on this let me know.

Thanks.

You have a problem with the data views, check your slip rings, your fiber optic.
Run Scan data path to see if you have a good data reception...

Hi Paul66, the Flash download was succesfully updated, and even the LFC was performed as well, and keeps doing the same thing.

Hi,

Have You checked the logs? There must be an error number. If You do the flash download the ORP is working properly?
Try to do some X-ray Gen. test to see if You can do scan parameters like kV mA etc.

You can also run Scan data path, check slipring communication

As i said there should be an error in log viewer
