Ge vct liquit bearing tube issue

Hello colleagues , I have an rare issue with a vct 100 plus tube (liquid bearing )used in the ge vct light speed ct , when I try to rotate the anode uusing the rotor comand the dialog said that it is running well ( I can hear it ) but after 1 minute runing the system stop it , and give me the error 10-0178 (liquid bearing speed too low ) but inmediatly give 10-0176(liquid bearing too hi ) and the rotor board is inhibited ( never rotate unless I reser
T the gantry ) when try to make exposure the system give me the ready signal but if I make x ray the tube arc if I pass the 40 ma (not matter the kv ) I mean I can choose 140 kv with 20 ma and not arc , both situation apeared together . I suspect of the tube but the winding measure fine , the rotor runs , I allready change the rotor board and the escenario is the same . Somebody can help me because I never worked with tube before

Seems like a problem with anode baering, the frequency is not correct that's why you got a message. You need to replace tube

Liquid bearing technology is very complicated is necessary read the newsletters from GE for understand it.
How you replace the rotor board, normally think is the next step is replace the tube (And is normal to get worry about it cuz tube is too much expensive). First condition is check if the tube mechanical are working fine, for do that you need meter the resistance of the filament and check it’s fine ; second is check the voltage signal come from the rotor board sometimes it get some leaks cause that problem. In final you need send the tube for at good factory to re check it.
If you needed more help we are a company with wide support and specialist on tubes and repair it. You can contact us.
