I have version 2.1 if it help you i will send
June 29, 2017 03:38
send it to try, but I am afraid, that I wont be able to downgrade the software...

I believe its the film types supported by the software version. Older software versions did not have the RF Tag overule functionality (Printing with Dmax= 2.0 O.D)
It is not just about upgrading but you have to install the patches too

I got the SW. but I do not recommend do the downgrade. Change the RF Tag Reader.
July 04, 2017 12:45
I think that the change of RF Tag Reader wont help, because before I upgrade the software to 3.1.0, it was reading the old tags.... And the bad thing for me, is that the client have hundreds of films with old tag
July 05, 2017 08:07
The same thing happened to me and it worked fine... any way...good luck!
July 07, 2017 07:40
Do you mean, that new RF Tag Readers, reads old tags, with new software ???
July 11, 2017 03:01
I change the RF Tag Reader with another one... and again Unknown format, type etc... but at least it begin to print the old tags(with Dmax=2). The problem is that it not recognize the film size and when I try to print on 14X17, the image is on the half of the film(like 8x10)

Hi Charlie,Could you send me the SW 3.0.0C3 Also do you n[now how much the tag reader for DS5302? Pl send me by firstname.lastname@example.org
Software release 1.8.0_C1 supports DT2B and DT2C film types but the RF Tag overule functionality is not implemented.
So it looks like you were running on this and an upgrade to later versions could solve this issues.
You must also get the patches.
I am sending you version 2.0.0_C3. Try this.

But like I said in first post... I upgrade the software to 3.1.0, and I know that you can't downgrade with lower version

Has nothing to do with the software has to do with the updated rfid tags that AGFA started using. You have to update one RFID Tag reader, AGFA will need the serial number of the drystar to hard code the reader.

Hi dear friend, Please if you have Drystar 5300 backup file please send it to me. Because I have a problem HC207020
Hi dear friend,
If you have backup file DryStar 5300, not 5302 only 5300 backup files please send it to me. I need this backup files for our printer 5300. I have a problem with HC207020. Incorrect internal CF identification.
Thanks in advance

Only you will have the backup files for your 5300, you just back them up to your CF card.
My backup files won't work on your unit because of differences in Machine Specific Files, print head profile and updates I have that you don't have.
I think what you are looking for is the updates to the 5300.
If you are getting an error of Incorrect internal CF identification it's quite possible your CF is corrupt.
I would recommend removing the CF and reformatting it or replacing the CF with another CF and doing a fresh backup of all data.
To do this you need to use the Drystar 5300 gui.
