Philips Optimus 80 Adaptation Problem

June 12, 2019 09:57

Hello,
After replacing arching tube on Philips Optimus 80 Generator(the unit is a easy diagnost converted to a bucky diagnost)...

When performing adaptation of the new tube 02HH error is observed at low Kv and very low mA values. The adaptation process stop and the control desk keep displaying TEST.

I try performing reset several times, restore of a back up but the control desk keep displaying in TEST and no APR can be selected.

Is any way to reset the CU board?
Any help will be appreciated

thanks

Hi,

Now, the CPU has only the time / date on the CPU Memory, when you make the adaption. The Adaption values are by the memory of the mA unit.

Have you make a breakin with the tube ?

Make the test with a dosemter like RaySave X2 and look to the curve of the KV. By the "Test" Mode you can make exposure and then you can look to the max KV what the Tube can without any arcing. Make exposure with a long time, like 200 mS and with max. mA.

Then programm with Agent this max. KV and you will have a good start point for the adaption.

Good Luuk
