If power to the chiller is lost, or if the general alarm (a standard feature on our industrial grade chillers) is triggered, the emergency bypass immediately goes into action. Valves to the inlet and outlet pipes close while the city-water inlet and outlet connections simultaneously open, thus providing continuous cooling to medical equipment under any condition.
