I have a problem with Huvitz HRK-7000A. Auto-Focus is not working right. When the operator centers the eyes the auto-focus starts to run and it moves too up or down. What can cause this?
Let me try to explain again:
1) Operator is positioning the device to center the eye.
2) When the device almost centered the eye, auto-focus is starting to center.
3) Our problem is here, auto-focus is moving the device to up or down direction and getting away from the eye.
Can anyone help me with this problem? Or does anyone have the service manual? Maybe it can give some idea. I don't know what to do.
I'm having the same problem. The auto focus starts moving all around and it zooms in totally blurry and we cannot get a reading unless we turn off the K reading portion and do only the refraction. I've been searching for an answer on this. Veatch Ophthalmic Instruments does not seem to be able to get this fixed either. Has any one solved this problem?

Check the LEDs at mire ring. The problem with autofocus and kerato usualy depends on bad light at cornea.
