Leah Kegler Joins AdvaMed
Washington, DC - The Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed) announced that Leah Kegler has joined the Association as Vice President of Government Affairs.

Kegler had served as Associate Director of the National Economics Council at the White House, where she provided policy guidance on health care financing issues including Medicare, Medicaid and State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). Along with her policy duties, Kegler coordinated over 30 Presidential events focused on economic policy and advised the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) during its transition to a new Administrator.

Before joining the White House, Kegler was the Director of Partnership Relations Group at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and led outreach and education activities for the Medicare drug benefit. Kegler previously served as a health policy advisor to the Senate Committee on Finance's Majority Staff during the implementation of the Medicare Modernization Act of 2003.
