I've a GE Lunar DPX that consistently have a QA failure, in the spillover test. It gets more than 12%. But, sometimes, if we insist more than 3-4 times, the spillover get under 12% (11,97%) and the QA test will pass.
There's some thing i can do, and can someone send me the service manual, also?

You likely have a bad detector. You can sometimes get past this by using the x-ray test mode to saturate the detector. This is what happens when you run the QA multiple times back to back. The detector is easy to replace but you will likely have to run the peak alignment. Just remember that the detector is not properly responsive during QC and exams as well. You may be getting improper results on the patient.

If you like i find you a reloaded detector. you can also connect the system with teamviewer to help you for the installation and/or give your detector one more year life.

Hi Adriano,
As mentioned, if nothing has changed recently with alignment, then your detector has deteriorated. This is a very common failure on any of the DPX models. Having worked for the Lunar business for many years we have seen these failures numerous times. We too stock these detectors. We have both new and used options to fit your budget. Also, as was mentioned, this is a part you do not need any specialty tools to replace if the alignment has not changed. Additionally, we season the detectors in a system prior to shipping to ensure quality and to save you from having to complete that process. If you would like a quote feel free to email me at ben@dexasolutions.com.

1.- The accuracy in the spine fantom is dropping. On the momento the bmd is in 1,190 (L2-L4,normal ranging 1,245 to 1,311), the last reading before of the fail was 1,240.
2.- The collimation ratio is 3.41 (Fail)
Other meassure:
Spillopver is 9,2;}
Low count: 530000 and hi count:316000 approx.

Had the same problem was bad detector . sometimes you can open the detector and clean the windows sometimes they tarnish and cleaning will fix the saturation problem.

You probably have a bad detector if the home positioning is good. We have it in stock if you need one

send me an email address. this could be the detector but I would go thru the alignments and calibrations first.

You will most likely need a detector unless the alignment is off. The alignment should be done by taking a picture.
