We are needing a x300 to run the BP9-4 Urology probe. Not sure if we don't have the correct options installed or what? We have the manual but it doesn't specify. Any help would greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You just in need to connect it to the lc3 port
And activate it
If still display unsupported transducer check the probe on another machine
What's your sw version

You may be using an "exam" type that does not support the transducer. Install the transducer and boot up the machine. Look at the default exam mode that comes up. If its Thyroid or any other that does not support that probe go to the exam button next to the presets button on the keyboard top and select that probe. Then select one of the exam types that is suited to that probe. For 9-4 cardiac or such.

We sold those units years ago. As far as I remember this probe was not compatible when the main unit was a WI (Women´s Imaging) Version. Maybe this could be the reason.

The p9-4 was supported by all X300 PE's. There is no upgrade or license needed to make it work. The "unsupported" does not mean the machine does not support the probe. It means the mode you are in does not.

6.00.3. I have tried every port and it says unsupported Transducer. We do not have another x300 to test it on.

I have the same problem with a new P9-4 transducer on a X300 PE. How do you "active" a transducer?

You don't. What you do is select an exam type that is listed as appropriate for that transducer.
