Have an old service manual for the ALoka SSD-1000, but I do not find a solution for the Task error 130. also shows US-TX. can anyone tell me the repair solution?
Diane was helping us troubleshoot a machine that we had bought. This is what fixed the issue for us:
Someone suggested that it was a problem with the rechargeable time keeper battery (located on the CPU board, green). Our unit had been unplugged for several months so this makes sense. We plugged the unit in for several hours to let the battery charge. We turned the brightness and contrast all the way down on the monitor so that the error image did not get burned in while the battery was charging. After charging the error message still displayed when the unit power was cycled off and on.
Next we did the hard reset of the backup RAM by powering off, removing the CPU board (which is the closest to the front on the lower level behind the left panel), moving the switch SW 1 no 8 (SW1 is the right most group of switches when the panel is upright with the plugs to the main unit oriented at the bottom) to on, replace board and turn power to on. At this point the startup screen did not show the error message any more and now gave a message about the backup RAM being reset. The final step was to power off, remove the board again, move SW 1 no 8 back to off, replace board and then power back on. Unit started up normally once we completed these steps. This process for resetting backup RAM is detailed in the troubleshooting portion of the service manual. Good luck.
