RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs mammographic procedures including routine screening cases, symptomatic cases and needle localization cases. Communicates effectively with all hospital personnel and patients in the daily procedure of the job. Assists in performing emergency procedures. Maintains adequate inventory, supplies and cleanliness in assigned work area. Performs and logs all safety and QA according to ACR guidelines. Operates specialized mammography equipment. Assures personnel coverage for procedures as necessary. Assists in training other personnel, assures equipment is maintained and accurate records are kept. Other duties as required. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma and graduate of an accredited Radiological Technologist Program. Massachusetts licensure for Mammography, ASRT registered in Mammography and two to four years of progressive mammography experience.
