This Drager Perseus A500 Anesthesia Machine Workstation Cart is in excellent cosmetic and power tested condition. Manufactured 10-10-2024!! Comes with the Touchscreen Display, Mechanical Gas Mixing Unit, Vaporizer Plug-in Connector w/ Vapor View, APL Valve, Anesthetic Gas Receiving System, Breathing System Pressure Gauge, Flexible Arm Breathing Bag Mount, Expiratory Port, Auxiliary Power Sockets, N2O-O2-Air Central Gas Connections, Hanger Yokes for Gas Cylinders, Cylinder Valve Wrench, Gas Pressure Measurement Lines, Tank Holders, External Cart Mounted Power Strip, Rail Mounted Lamp Light, Rail Mounted O2 Concentrator, Interface Connections, Rolling Workstation with 2 Drawers and Writing Tray.
NO gas or anesthetic cylinders or vaporizers included. The bottom drawer on the workstation is locked and we do not have the key, however this drawer is not needed in any way to use the device. I can see in the crack of the drawer there is a set of wheel guards enclosed. The Drager Perseus A500 is a high-end anesthesia workstation used in operating rooms to deliver and monitor anesthetic gases during surgery for both pediatric and adult patients.
During testing the device powers on and the touchscreen display is working. Once on the display gives a prompt to run a "System Test". Since we do not have access to any gas connections for this device, we are unable to conducted further testing or any of the devices self-tests. The Gas Mixing Unit display is working and the back light is illuminated. All dials, buttons and guages are intact and undamaged. All tank and hose connections are undamaged. The flexible arm mounted light and cart lighting are both working.
All parts of the Breathing System appear to be present but the CO2 Absorber and water trap are missing. This unit comes equipped with the Vapor View anesthetic monitoring feature. The rear Gas Cylinder Holders and Gas Inlets are in excellent undamaged condition. The interfaces panel is present and all connectors are undamaged. The workstation is in great shape. The external power strip is working. All 4 large swivel casters with wheel locks are intact and working. Overall this is an awesome machine, very recently manufactured and we guarantee it will not be DOA.

The Perseus anesthesia workstation is intended for use in anesthetizing adults, children, and neonates and can be used for automatic and manual ventilation, pressure-supported spontaneous breathing, and spontaneous breathing. Perseus is equipped with airway monitoring, gas measurement and device monitoring, O2 insufflation, and an anesthetic gas receiving system. Anesthesia is achieved through a mixture of pure oxygen and Air (medical compressed air) or pure oxygen and nitrous oxide, with the addition of volatile anesthetic agents. Ventilation is accomplished on the patient through a laryngeal mask airway, a full-face mask, or an endotracheal tube. The integrated breathing system can be used with partial rebreathing (low-flow or minimum-flow). A non-rebreathing system such as the Kuhn or Medec Water System may be used at the external fresh-gas outlet (optional).
Condition & Testing
This unit is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. This unit was manufactured in just 10-10-2024!! During testing we powered on the device and the display illuminates. Once on I can use the touchscreen function to navigate use of this device. Once startup is complete the device displays a prompt to run a, "System Test". Since we do not have access to the necessary gas connections, no further testing can be conducted.
The Breathing System appears to be excellent condition with all parts present except the CO2 absorber and water trap. The rear gas inlets with hanger yokes are in excellent condition. The Vaporizer Connection with Vapor View is very nice as well. All interface connections are undamaged. The rail mounted work light and display lights are working. All buttons dials and gauges are undamaged.
The cart is in great condition. We do not have the keys to this unit, however only the bottom drawer is locked. The bottom drawer is not needed to operate this device. The 2 unlocked drawers and writing surface open and close easily. The large swivel casters are undamaged and the wheel locks and caster brake are working. Overall this is a very nice unit and manufactured very recently. We guarantee it will not be DOA!
