This is an analogue version of the Enraf Myomed two channel IFC / Biofeedback instrument. It uses a numeric rather than a graphic feedback display and is larger and heavier than the current Myomed devices. It uses the same IFC electrode protocols as Enraf 932 Myomed, Sonopuls, and Dynatron 400 series IFCs and the Endomed 500 series IFCs. No electrodes are included. Two biofeedback leads are included. These use snap connectors and standard electrodes.
This 1990's era 432 appears to be in good working order. All channels appear to conduct and or read electrode signals and to respond to the controls. The display is bright and complete and almost zeros without any attempt at adjusting or calibrating. My understanding is that the output displayed is for immediate or charted feedback rather than some sort of objective measure for use with outside instruments. Once the baseline pain or muscle signal threshold is established with this device measured numeric response to the machine should be consistent and not deviate due to instrument issues. One advantage of analogue instruments is that they are far more resilient and less susceptible to damage through movement, rough handling and power issues.
