Cloud DX is a Canadian company which has developed a small, reliable, robust and easy to use wrist type blood pressure measurement systems which has been approved for use by the FDA and Health Canada. The PAD-1A model was its primary product of this type until 2021. It uses Cloud DX Pulse Acquisition Software (PAS) version 2.2.0 for Windows and MacOS to which it connects through a USB cable. In 2022 the company stopped supporting the PAD-1A and allowing the version of PAS it uses to be downloaded from their site. Their related news release indicates this device and the software remain safe to use. The ideal buyer of this product will be an experienced user with access to appropriate PAS software required for its use, or someone in need of a good quality wrist cuff.

The product is warranted to be without physical damage and to power up using a standard USB cable with a "D" connector.
