The centrifuge of the brand Roche type LC Carousel is designed for centrifuging the carousel PCR samples into capillaries for the LightCycler 2.0. After a pre-set centrifugation of 30 seconds, the samples can be inserted into the LightCycler 2.0 instrument for sample amplication.
The PCR fluorescence meter of the brand Roche type LightCycler 2.0 is ideal for scientific research, food analysis and forensic research. This PCR fluorescence meter is capable of performing fast and sensitive real-time PCR. With the Roche LightCycler 2.0, the amplification of 32 PCR products can be monitored simultaneously using the six fluorescence detectors that can measure fluorescence at different wavelengths. In addition, the Roche LightCycler 2.0 is suitable for kinetic quantification of DNA, cDNA and RNA, PCR product identification and PCR product characterization via melting point analysis. Further applications of the Roche LightCycler 2.0 are: qualitative PCR product detection, multiplex determinations using the HybProbe detection format, specific mutation analysis, SNP (single nucleotipolymorphism) genotyping and gene expression analysis. The Roche LightCycler 2.0 can also be used for decay tests, screening for genetically modified organisms (GMO) and for specific analysis of oncological or virological research parameters.
