Roche Cobas Mira Classic

The Cobas Mira enables physicians to receive test results quickly. Stat samples may be placed on the instrument at any time. Once the Stat has been completed, the Cobas Mira automatically returns to processing the Routine samples. The Cobas Mira enables specific tests to be requested on samples eliminating unnecessary testing and expense. Custom profiles may also be designed to meet physician needs.

Another advantage of the Cobas Mira is that all tests on a sample will be pipetted before the next patient sample is accessed. Thus a complete, collated patient report is printed in as little as 10 minutes for 12 tests.

With an average throughput of 120 test results per hour, the Cobas Mira is ideally suited for smaller hospitals, group practices, clinics and stat labs in large hospitals. The best features of random access have been utilized in the COBAS MIRA to make it match the work flow in most laboratories. The Cobas Mira Software Version 8735 includes the Standard Nonlinear Curve capability (DENS) and the cumulative Quality Control program.

DESCRIPTION
The bench top Cobas Mira is 29" wide, 23" deep and 26" high. The water and waste containers are connected
at the back of the analyzer. The left side of the instrument has a robotic transfer arm for sample and reagent pipetting. Beneath the transfer arm is the rack platform holding removable reagent and sample racks. The robotic transfer arm dispenses reagent and sample into the cuvettes located in the analyzer on the right side of the instrument. Across the top of the instrument is the control panel.
