Contraindications:

Non-invasive pacing is contraindicated in the treatment of ventricular fibrillation. Use of the R Series in AED mode is contraindicated on patients under 8 years of age unless using pediatric-specific electrodes. Defibrillation is contraindicated for patients with "Do Not Resuscitate" (DNR) orders.
