When comes into contact with the tissue, PlasmaKinetic Energy creates a plasma globe called “Plasma Corona”.

Tissue resection and vaporization is performed with the plasma globe.

The ions create an electrical path between delivery-return electrodes when the saline solution approaches boiling point at the tip of the probe. A low resistance emerges between the tips as the tissue enters into the Plasma Corona globe. The current flows over the tissue and the saline solution. While the tissue entering into the plasma globe is vaporized, the tissues that the globe touches are coagulated.
