The Covidien Force FX is a high-power digital electrosurgical unit. This electrical scalpel console recognises changes in the tissue 200 times per second and adjusts the voltage and current accordingly to maintain the precise power throughout.
The Valleylab Force FX Electrocautery enables the use of hand-control and foot controls to activate the cutting and coagulation modes. Allowing surgeons to accurately deliver the selected power settings, even through resistant tissues.
The machine was tested with the ESU analyser and it produced the outputs corresponding to the provided inputs.
