COMPLTE SYSTEM WITH SOFTWARE AND COMPUTER
Biosense Webster Carto XP

Electroanatomical Mapping Complter System

WITH SOFTWARE ,PRINTER ,ALL CABLES AND ORIBIAL BIOSENSE WEBSTER COMPUTER INCLUDED

The Carto XP Navigation System is an electroanatomical navigation system used to view the electrical activity of the heart through real-time data on 3-D, color-coded cardiac maps. It is a irrigated cardiac catheter ablation system that will be used for catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation.

This is the only system that uses ablation catheters approved for atrial fibrillation by the FDA. Recently, other catheters, such as St. Jude, (previously approved for Biosense Webster and Hansen Medical Systems) were found to cause life-threatening complications when performing catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation. We currently have the Hansen Medical cardiac catheter system, so this system will no longer be used to perform catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation.

The FDA adverse event report for the Hansen Medical catheter ablation system, as well as the FDA letter approving the Biosense Webster catheters were sent to the contract specialist intern. In addition, an article was found that confirmed that these are the first and only ablation catheters approved for the treatment of atrial fibrillation.

The CARTO XP Navigation and Ablation System lets you automatically share monitoring and mapping information. You can synchronize data for each CARTO point and deliver a comprehensive EP case report complete with events, vitals, waveforms, ablation parameters and CARTO 3D electro-anatomical maps.
Simplified patient setup with a single 12-lead ECG Quick Connect cable
Patient data is entered once at a single workstation eliminating multiple points of data entry and reducing the potential for errors
Simultaneous control of both systems integrates data in real time – all waveforms, data and maps synchronized for clinical accuracy
Access to a single report from CardioLab IT system
General Information

Item Carto XP Electroanatomical Mapping System
Catalog Number M-4700-01
Features Increased location accuracy

Visualize catheter tip location with sensor accuracies of less than 1 mm.
Navigate with six degrees of freedom--X, Y, Z, pitch, roll, and yaw.
Precisely re-navigate to areas of interest using the system's location memory.
Increased site-targeting efficiency

Quickly diagnose clinical conditions based on easy-to-read 3-D electroanatomical maps.
Visualize electrogram data, which is color coded and superimposed on anatomical maps.
Display true anatomic variations for individual patients.
Increased treatment safety

Tag critical structures to prevent AV block during ablation.
Visually assess ablation line of block and gap.
Visualize catheter icon to verify stability.
Tag ablation sites to improve safety by reducing duplicate applications to the same area.
Increase margin of safety during ablation with temperature sensing catheter.

Approval US FDA
Software Using the CARTO XP System is as easy as opening Windows* software. An intuitive 4-step set-up guide walks you through the procedure, step-by-step, and the short-cut menus let you apply right-click access options to a variety of screen items. The main acquisitions screen presents all the critical information you need in one location--including the active map, ECG viewer, annotation viewer, and map explorer. The status panel provides system information at a glance.
3D The CARTO XP System's 3-D electroanatomical maps let you easily visualize complex spatial relationships.

Product Description

The CARTO XP Electroanatomical Mapping System combines the legendary accuracy of the CARTO System with the operating ease of Windows* software. It integrates seamlessly into your EP environment, adding powerful new tools that enhance your clinical capabilities in an easy-to-upgrade platform that takes you into the future of EP. The intended use of the CARTO XP System is catheter-based cardiac electrophysiological (EP) mapping. The CARTO XP System provides important information on the electrical activity of the heart, in a procedure that uses the same techniques and tools as other cardiac catheter mapping systems. You can use the CARTO XP System on patients who are eligible for a conventional electrophysiological study.

The original list price for all equipment for this system, as well as a one year service agreement is $477,000.00

It costs hundreds of thousands of dollars for a new one. You will never find another on the secondary market as complete as this one.
