This is a fetal doppler due to the 3 Mhz head but the heads are interchangeable and you can find them easily online to make this a vascular doppler as well. It has a volume control and a headphones port. It also has a power supply port (power supply not included) and 3 brand new AAA batteries. Overall, a nice little unit.
