This Parks 811 Ultrasonic Doppler Vascular Flow Detector with 8.1 mHz Pencil Probe is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. Charger NOT included. The device is powered by a standard 9V battery and we installed a brand new one into the device. The battery voltage gauge is working. The high frequency pencil probe is in excellent condition and functions properly to detect blood flow. The speaker works well and I can adjust the volume using the dial.During testing we are able to detect blood flow and hear the doppler shift sound through the speaker. The pencil probe is marked 8.3mHz and the inputs on the doppler have a sticker labeled 9.7 mHz. Compact and portable with a carrying handle and internal chargeable battery. Perfect for transport in emergency vehicles. This unit was removed from a working facility and was recently in use. Overall this is a great device and we guarantee it will not be DOA!

The 811-B Ultrasonic Doppler Flow Detector has clinical applications for vascular studies and detecting blood pressures. The high-frequency 9.7MHz probe is used to detect blood flow for the measurement of systolic pressures at sites where a stethoscope cannot be used, as well as pulses that are too faint for a stethoscope to detect reliably. The sound of blood flow can be monitored during surgery with the 811-B. This Doppler can be utilized in emergency vehicles, emergency and recovery rooms, intensive care units, surgical wards, veterinary, urology, pediatric and vascular clinics.

Condition & Testing

This device is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. NO charger included. We installed a new battery so it should last some time before needing replacement. Replacing the battery is also very easy. The pencil probe is in excellent condition and functions properly to detect blood flow. We tested the device by holding the probe to the carotid artery of a test subject. The sound of the doppler shift was loud and clear through the speaker. The device reads 9.7mHz and the probe reads 8.3mHz. The speaker works great and I can adjust the volume usingthe dial.
