Cell-Dyn Sapphire is solution for high volume hematology laboratories. It is a multi-parameter automated hematology analyzer designed for in vitro diagnostic use in counting and characterizing blood cells. The analyzer features MAPSS technology plus 3 color fluorescence to provide our most comprehensive testing capability.
WBC and differential: Identification and enumeration of WBCs and subpopulations, identification of abnormal cell types, identification of NRBCs, identification of platelet clumps.
Nucleated Red Blood Cell (NRBC) Enumeration – Using red fluorescence, every sample is analyzed for the presence of Nucleated Red Blood Cells with no need to reflex to a different test mode. During sample analysis, NRBCs are enumerated as a unique nucleated cell sub-population.
The Platelet count is considered one of the most clinically important CBC parameters. The instrument uses multiple technologies to provide the highest degree of accuracy for this critical result.
Reticulocyte analysis – The instrument uses fluorescent flow cytometry to provide automated, random access reticulocyte analysis.
