The 3M Attest Auto-Reader 490 is a dual-well reader designed to incubate and automatically read Attest Biological Indicators 1491 and 1492V for steam sterilization, as well as Biological Indicator 1295 for vaporized hydrogen peroxide (VH2O2), at 140F (60C) for a final fluorescent result in just 24 minutes.
This 24-minute dual auto-reader features Any-Well technology, which means Attest 1491 or 1492V BIs and associated challenge packs for steam, or Attest 1295 BIs for VH2O2 sterilization, can be incubated in any well of the auto-reader simultaneously.
