The following is included in purchase:

-Control PC, with Gamry Framework software pre-installed

-Gamry ECM8 Multiplexer

-Computer monitor, and cables to connect it to the control computer

-Serial cable to connect the mux to the control computer via USB

In order to make this a functional electrochemical experimental setup, you will need the following: a potentiostat (preferably a Gamry one that is plug-and-play compatible, though the Gamry Framework software supports many of the name brand potentiostats), electrochemical cells, cell cables (we have some Gamry brand cables for sale separately in our webstore), and a mouse and keyboard to interact with the computer.

Used, in very good shape, you'd be hard pressed to find one in better condition; no corrosion on the rear connectors at all. See photos.

Overview

The ECM8 Electrochemical Multiplexer partners with a Gamry Potentiostat to convert a single potentiostat into a powerful instrument suitable for sequential multichannel operations. It allows you to sequentially take measurements on up to eight electrochemical cells. The ECM8 Multiplexer is great for automating repetitive experiments, and for increasing throughput on long-term experiments where data can be taken periodically. Each of the eight Multiplexer channels also incorporates a "local" potentiostat to polarize the sample when not participating in the electrochemical experiment. The ECM8 is not usable for simultaneous multichannel experiments across multiple cells. For simultaneous multichannel experiments see the multichannel potentiostat.
