This fluorescent detection system is capable of medium-throughput levels and with repeatability on par with ELISA and western blot. The MAGPIX system leverages fluorescent detection, combined with immobilizing magnetic force and xMap microsphere technology, with a CCD camera to detect beads and analytes, giving you a sensitivity of 700 PE fluorochromes per xMAP microsphere.
