My offer is repair and modernization of the R.Wolf ultrasound transducer 2271.501. The modernization means complete remove of the reasons why this transducer has so short lifetime, usually it’s about two years (the warranty time) and from time to time even less. After modernization you can expect to work with it at least 10 years and even more.
As a correct disassembling of this device is impossible in general, repair also includes producing of the new body of the device (see picture). Here are several options of a selected material:
1. PEEK plastic, which is probably the best one due to the excellent physical properties of this material (such body is described on the picture), but a bit more expensive.
2. Ultem black plastic, less excellent and less expensive, but anyway far better the original Wolf’s plastic, fragile and very strange in it’s physical properties.
3. And finally, ROM-C black plastic, very cheap plastic, but nevertheless it’s too much better Wolf’s gray fragile plastic. I have some pictures which prove very strange features, why Wolf has chosen this material(?), I have no answer.
