Laparoscopic leiomyoma coagulation is performed using bipolar coagulation needles. This method uses a 32cm long (or a 45cm long, if it is used through the 5mm operative channel of an operative laparoscope) bipolar coagulation instrument connected to an electrosurgical generator. The active electrodes are two parallel 5cm long needles.
