Multi-modality imaging with Spectralis is helping drive the development of novel therapeutics and changing the course of patient management in eye care. Using an upgradeable platform approach, Spectralis has enhanced the role of spectral domain OCT by integrating it with confocal scanning laser ophthalmoscopy. The combination of these two technologies has enabled new imaging capabilities, such as active eye tracking, and blue laser autofluorescence, providing clinicians with unique views of the structure and function of the eye.

The Spectralis platform has many models at various price points. However, the workhorse model in the family in the Spectralis OCT, an economical, easy-to-use version with one-touch pre-set patterns and Autorescan. Additional models built upon this base platform allow clinicians to tailor a system to the current needs of the practice. As the practice grows, upgrade options allow the Spectralis system to grow with it.
