The Inogen One G4 is the lightest concentrator on the market, weighing only 2.8 pounds with a standard battery. With the use of an optional extended battery (not included), this machine can provide 5 hours of uninterrupted therapy in three pulse dose settings. This unit is FAA-approved for use of flights, cruise ships, and more.


This POC provides oxygen therapy in 3 pulse dose settings. Oxygen is delivered to users when they inhale and is not delivered as they exhale. A person’s healthcare provider will prescribe the correct setting, and it is not recommended to change or adjust those settings.

Setting 1 = 210 milliliters per minute
Setting 2 = 420 milliliters per minute

The Inogen One G4 can be used with either a standard battery or an extended battery. Users can select once at checkout. These batteries can provide long hours of operation depending on a user’s settings. The batteries can be charged using either AC or DC power cords, giving patients the choice to charge their devices anywhere.

This device has a user-friendly display and four large buttons to give patients an easy way to navigate their therapy. Alerts, battery status, and more can be seen on this screen in large fonts and symbols,

A breath detection alert mode is also included in the Inogen One G4. This mode monitors breathing, and if a breath is not detected for more than one minute, the oxygen will automatically be pulsed at a meted rate. An alarm will sound when this occurs. The device will defer back to its normal settings once a breath is detected again.

A unique feature of the G4 POC is the near-silent operation. Since this device does not include a motor, the noise coming from it is practically nonexistent. However, there are alarms built into the device that will audibly sound when a problem occurs.
