This sale is for two 5292 external dual/single chamber temporary external PACEMAKERS. One appears to be in good condition while the other shows fault code 200 (output voltage too high). Both have functional displays and controls, no apparent pin or socket damage within the cable ports and their plastic cases are undamaged except for small surface wear marks. The newer 2015 pacemaker was tested for output with a commercial grade multimeter and found to increase voltage and pulse pace on both atrial and ventricular channels. The 2014 device did not pass its self-test and this stopped it from outputting current or allowing pace testing.

These devices are sold with the understanding that the buyer will have them inspected, repaired and biomedically certified before they are used with human beings, or dismantle them for parts.

The Medtronic Model 5392 dual chamber temporary pacemaker is intended to be used in conjunction with a cardiac pacing lead system for temporary single or dual chamber pacing in a clinical environment by trained personnel. The temporary pacemaker can be used where short-term demand (synchronous) or asynchronous pacing is indicated for therapeutic, prophylactic, or diagnostic purposes. The temporary pacemaker must be used in an environment where the patient is monitored continuously to ensure that it is operating properly and delivering appropriate therapy to the patient
