The patented nUVaClean carousel uses a germicidal UV-C lamp with a high-efficiency reflector/concentrator that completely bathes pipette shafts in 254nm UV light. This exposure destroys unwanted microbiological contaminants and prevents cross-contamination in PCR and other sensitive procedures.
