This scale works great, but it will need a power adapter. I use a universal variable power adapter to test this with, and you should be able to pick up one like it for less than $20 at Bestbuy, Amazon or. There is a spot on the Tanita readout where it looks like batteries, or a battery pack would go but the cover is missing.
The platform pad is in good condition. The rails have some tears.
I think that this would make a good shipping table as well if you removed the platform pad. If you slid a box on this, you would be able to easily weigh and measure it.
The outside dimension of the platform is 43" x 24". The top of the platform is about 35" above the ground and the total height, including the redout is about 50" tall.
Max capacity: 440 lbs x 0.2 lbs. (200kg x 100 grams).
