For Sale DIAISORIN LIAISON MDX real time PCR Thermal Cycler

We have two of these both of which have labels on them saing they were MADE IN THE USA. These are real time PCRs, one from DiaSorin ( 2017 ) and an apparently identical unit branded 3M (2016). Both power up, pass internal testing and appear to be functional with only minimal signs of use. Each includes a used and 96 well magnetic disc. No software come with these devices when they left their original purchaser, a large public healthcare organization, where they were maintained to manufacturer's specifications. As a consequence testing was limited to power up, door opening, door locking, button and LED functions. As indicated, all these elements seem fine.

Each MDX is warranted to function on delivery when used with appropriately with the designated software and sample types. The most suitable buyer will likely be a lab already using the LIAISON system laptop and software, seeking addition MDX thermocyclers to link to it.

The LIAISON MDX system is a real-time PCR thermocycler for single or multiple target amplification and fluorescence melt curve analysis for enhanced testing capabilities. The user-friendly format with direct specimen testing on 8 or 96 well disc formats and multiple instrument connectivity on a single laptop gives utility and flexibility to any lab. The instrument is compact with an extremely small footprint measuring only 12″ by 8″ by 12″ so that it can fit into laboratories of any size. Multiple instruments may be connected to single laptop to facilitate laboratory workflow needs. It scans primary unextracted samples per run, ready-to-use single-use reaction mix vials and the 8-well Direct Amplification Disc. Simply load samples and reagents directly onto the disc, place the disc on the Instrument, and press run for results in 60 minutes for most assays. Expedite your clinical output with minimal input. The 96 well disc will process up to 96 samples in as little as an hour and can be used to process multiple targets simultaneously. It allows small reaction volume (maximum of 10 μL) and can be used with extracted DNA/RNA or non-extracted samples. The LIAISON MDX software provides easy to understand results with the ability to check amplification curves after a run. The software plots QC Charts and can be bi-directionally interfaced with LIS for easy integration into any lab workflow. You can also access and navigate the software during a run.

As of the date of this listing was posted (May 4/25) US customers pay no US or Canadian taxes, however tariffs these days are somewhat unpredictable and maybe applied. The is a 3m product has two labels on it, both indicating its US origin, so by the intent of the Trump tariff plan, it should not be subject to this tax, but things happen. The US distributed DiaSorin MDX has two places of manufacture labels on it. One is the shows the same Minnesota address as the 3M and the other indicates Hungary. We will use the US origin on our shipment, but if push comes to shove, the purchase may be subject to a 10% tariff. If the buyer is charged a tariff, we will refund 50% of this cost once proof of payment has been provided. So far there is no way of a paying tariff in advance or even predicting if the program will be in play on the shipping date. Customs Brokerage fees may be charged and are already accounted for in our shipping charges. We do not charge handling fees. What is paid on check out is all that will be paid unless a tariff is assessed. UPS delivery normally take 5 to 9 days.
