GE Healthcare's recent development in acoustic engineering combining Single Crystal, Cool Stack and Acoustic Amplifier technologies make the XDclear transducers GE's highest performing transducers.

With the new Vivid E9 with XDclear, GE Healthcare offers a comprehensive sample portfolio of adult, pediatric, vascular and abdominal imaging probes which are well suited for many department's cardiovascular and shared services needs.

Enhancements include:

Echo- Combining the XDclear and Matrix Array technologies, the new M5Sc-D probe offers enhanced sensitivity in Color Flow and Doppler. The Vivid E9 with XDclear also provides quantification enhancements by fully automating regions of interest placement in AFI, and further developing its 4D strain offering to include the export of mesh for researchers and enhanced tracking for clinicians. Our EchoPAC now also includes support for multilayer 2D Strain as well as segmental wall thickness control.

Interventional - GE has standardized depth illumination on this platform to enhance communication to non-echo experts and is offering the next GE generation of stereo vision called PolarVision. PolarVision can enhance communication in the cath lab and OR by combining polarized stereo with depth rendering on a dedicated 3D monitor.

Pediatrics - Imaging tiny fast moving heart structures and lesions in small babies and fetuses is a challenge, as both high spatial as well as temporal resolution is required simultaneously. Vivid E9 with XDclear delivers advanced technology to image pediatric patients and allows for the acquisition of images on a wide range of pediatric and neonatal patients, quickly and with minimal system adjustments. The XDclear technology enhances low-level signal display in 2D and M-Mode, and combines high color sensitivity with high frame rates, by leveraging parallel beam forming power. For fetal heart imaging in particular the result is deep penetration without sacrificing resolution.

Shared Services - Working closely with the GE General Imaging LOGIQ E9 with XDclear team, the Vivid E9 with XDclear leverages that technology and delivers excellent performance in shared-services operation including, vascular, abdominal, OB / GYN, and small-parts applications. In vascular procedures, the Vivid E9 with XDclear introduces enhancements in both 2D and Color Flow image quality and delivers enhanced signal-to-noise ratio, helping reduce noise in the vessels. In general and abdominal imaging the XDclear technology delivers the high spatial resolution and deep penetration required for uniform presentation of anatomic structures throughout the field of view.
